It is 100% owned by ZA Group, which also owns ZA Bank, a digital bank in Hong Kong. As a growing insurance brokerage firm, we specialize in life insurance and GI products. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Sales to lead our sales team and drive business growth in this competitive market. Key Responsibilities: As the Head of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our sales strategy, managing a high-performing team, and building strong relationships with clients and partners. Your responsibilities will include: Sales Strategy and Leadership:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company revenue and growth targets.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to ensure optimal performance and alignment with company goals.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Closely work with the Director, RO, referrers and back-office colleagues to maintain strong relationships with these key stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration.
Team Management and Development:
  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales staff, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Set clear sales targets and KPIs for the team, and ensure regular performance evaluations.
  • Formulate and review the compensation scheme of the sales team to ensure proper incentivization while aligning with the company’s financial goals.
  • Ensure the team adheres to compliance requirements set by the Insurance Authority and other relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Uphold service quality standards by monitoring client interactions and providing feedback to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to improve individual and team performance.
Personal Sales Contribution:
  • Actively participate in sales activities as assigned, focusing on serving high-value customers and delivering tailored insurance solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Set a good example for the team by demonstrating best practices in sales techniques, client engagement, and professional conduct.
Requirements: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:  Experience:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in insurance sales
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the insurance industry, preferably in Hong Kong.
  • Past experience as an RO of an insurance broker in Hong Kong
Industry Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of the life insurance products and the needs of different customer segments, including local market and MCV market.
  • Familiarity with Hong Kong’s insurance regulations and market dynamics.
Leadership Skills: 
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on motivating and developing talent.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive results and adapt to changing market conditions.
Interpersonal Skills:
  • Strong sense of ownership and responsibility, with innovative thinking, agility and entrepreneurship
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
